The company also specialises in precision bending, machining, forming and welding of aluminium tube from 8mm to 168mm diameter.

The company undertakes large scale fabrication projects producing high integrity welded fabrications using aluminium, stainless steels and carbon steels. The structures produced are typically capital plant elements for industrial or chemical process applications with a value of €350k to €4.5m.

To provide our customers with full project management of their requirements many processes are developed internally to minimise risk. Special processes which incorporate large cleaning, plating and anodising capabilities with large clean room facilities are available if necessary.

IMI Components has been heavily involved in supplying the civil nuclear sector with critical components and assemblies from the earliest days of nuclear power.
